Pidato Hari Pahlawan bahasa Inggris
Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb.
The honorable ones the principle of SMPN 1 Suruh, all teachers, and administration staff of SMPN 1 Suruh, and all my friends from grade 7 until 9.
Before I begin to give a speech, I would like to invite you to thank to Allah the Almighty, who has given us Mercy and Blessing, so we can meet together in this blessing place. And also I dont forget to deliver sholawat and salam to our prophet Muhammad saw, who has brought us from the darkness to the brightness, so we are always in the right way. Also to friends and teachers who have given me the opportunity to stand in front to deliver a speech on National Day.
Friends, as you know today is celebrated as National Heroes Day. Do you know why we commemorate the National Heroes Day on 10 November?. Towards the 1950s the National Heroes day has been set on the 10th of November by President Sukarno of Indonesia at that time. 10 November be a day to commemorate the heroes of the battle in Surabaya, between Indonesia nationalists army and Allied forces. Today, the heroes who died in battle shed blood, sweat, and tears to get the red-white flag, flag of Indonesia.
Many heroic stories are born on this day, where the first great battle between the Indonesia and foreign troops after the proclamation of Indonesian Independence on August 17, 1945. The Great War occurred because the arrival of the Dutch who wanted to re-colonize Indonesia after Japan surrendered unconditionally to the allied after dropping of atomic bombs by the United State on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The great battle is the national symbol of Indonesia resistance against colonialism. When that so many heroes are falling even more in Surabaya, Approximately 160 thousand people died during the 10 November incident, most victims are on the Way Heroes are currently built Monument of Heroes. All who died to defend our country is heroes for us.
Today is 10 November, how far do we do for this country, Indonesia? We as a student at once the younger generation successor to nation must participate to maintain the independence that we have this now. Our efforts as a students can we show with learning earnest and respectful of others in order to create harmony in the life of the nation and the state. And for the future again, our task is to become the next heroes are certainly ready to fight against ignorance, corruption, collusion, nepotism, and poverty in our country.
